The following table describes the various fields that appear in the SMTP server

and mail Settings page:

Field Name

Description

Specifies the login method for sending mails,

whether form user account or from anonymous.

SMTP server

Specifies the SMTP server from where the mail is

to be sent.

Port

Specifies the port number of the SMTP server.

Username

Specifies the username.

Password

Specifies the password correspond to the

username.

Mail from

Specifies the Email ID from where the mail is to

be sent.

Mail to

Specifies the Email IDs to whom the mail is to be

sent.

Subject prefix

Specifies the prefix like:

Subject:<prefix>_<alarm>_<event>_<timestamp>
